I wasn't able to review anything last semester because of the work load so I didn't take the February comprehensive exam. Since I signed the oath of undertaking, I would have to take the July exam. Whatever the result will dictate whether I would leave or stay in the organization.
This time, I'm taking a month of study leave for the entire May. I just have to make sure I wont be leaving any work pending. I'm also doing advance classes so I could finish the lectures before. Then I would only come by for the final exam and grade submission. This a good start to prepare right?
I also have books and other resources ready but I haven't planned out how my review sessions will be. I have four subjects to prepare for in total and I think I already have a good grasp on Accounting and Finance so I wont be spending so much time reviewing it.
I'm a little nervous with Strategic and Marketing Management though because I have poor comprehension and essay writing skills that I've been trying to work on. I also don't know if I'm improving since I have no one to check my work and too shy to ask my office mates to check it for me.
Everyone's telling me that no one fails the comprehensive exam. That kind of puts more pressure on me because a lot of students I know reviewed full time for several months in Pampanga and yet they failed. I, on the other hand, would only review on my own for two months.
I've already submitted my letter requesting for study leave and I'm most certain I'd be allowed.
