Colortrends is another brand of nail polish created by Chic Centre. Unlike Chic and Bobbie, the formula is a little thicker and less sheer. I've been using Bobbie and Chic for awhile now but this is the first time I'm trying out this particular line from the same company. Since it is quite affordable, I was able to purchase this entire collection together with the Shopaholic Collection.
What: Colortrends Flour Power Collection
Where to buy: Watsons and SM Department Stores Price: P22 per bottle
The Flour Power Collection has six shades namely (L-R) Espresso, Dough Knot, Mad Butter, Red Velvet, Sunrise Pies and Sweetie Pie. It has unique vibrant colors, however, it is a lot simpler when it comes to finishes. Five of it are cream and there's only one duochrome, Red Velvet.
Opacity Test
During the first swatch, you can see how tranparent it is but the color remains as vivid as it was in the bottle and just like other standard nail polishes, it still need three coats for full coverage.
Application is smooth in spite of having a thicker formula. What I didn't like about it is its strong nail polish scent but other than that, I have no other complains.
