I was also offered a permanent position and ranked ahead of the others a year after I got hired because nobody wanted to stay in that position but me. So I took the offer. Then the rise of the bitches began.
I see them everyday; Greet them everyday; Little did I know that they were already back stabbing me. The person I gifted a bag with was spreading rumors about me. One even called the head of the personnel to talk about how awful I am to work with. On top of that, my paper that would make me permanent went missing. I was lucky enough that I have two good friends who know me well and saved me.
Recently, I joined several blogging groups on Facebook to promote my blog. I started with three but after some time, I was able to find and get approved to more blogging groups. Most of which were really helpful in creating better quality posts and growing my blog further.
Listed are a few things you may also want to consider when choosing the groups to join.
1. Group Description
Most of the times, you’ll find the activities of the group in the description box. You may want to think it through if the kind of engagement they offer is what you need for your blog. You may also get a hint on close groups whether they are organized or not by reading this section.
The last time I went to Davao for the naional convention, we passed by Mindanao Expo at Abreeza Mall and there I found a small kiosk that sells native bags. The pattern is pretty, and colorful plus, it's easy to make.
The products I used are: OMG Oh My Girl 2 Way Nail Art Brush, Black Caronia Nail Polish, White Chic Nail Polish a liner brush. If you don't have a nail art brush, you may try making one by cutting a few bristles from your nail polish's brush and attaching to the end of a stick.
January is almost here and I've been watching a marathon of fashion shows on youtube. As expected, there's a wide variety of colors and patterns from the spring/summer 2017 collection to inspire my next post and nail art design.
I'm sure we have fashion shows but I'm not an important person to be invited. Finding the same videos online to check the local trend is just as difficult so I watch the Paris fashion week instead.
Anyways, here's my nail color trend report for the upcoming season.
1. Neutrals and Grayscale
2016 have been a productive year for me although, honestly, none on my list was actually accomplished in full. Yet it was filled with successful unplanned activities which made my year a lot more exciting. I've never let my instinct take the wheel before but things get crazy busy all at once, I didn't have much time to brood on anything that's been going on.
My year started with winning a beauty pageant. It wasn't like me to join contests like that but since it's part of my job to represent my department, I didn't have a choice but to follow my boss's orders. I ended up having fun trying on clothes and walking the ramp. The event also allowed me to conquer my fear of being judged on stage by the crowd.
Buying Something Useful
I've been working since 18 and the only useful thing I got myself is a small digital camera. I spend a lot on bags, foot wear, clothing, etc but not on expensive things that I actually need. One day, my gadgets just stopped working and for the first, I had to purchase a phone and a laptop. I needed it for work so I had to.
Finally l was able to get two of these grainy polishes by Chic Cosmetics. It's been around since 2012 so it's nothing new but it wasn't easy to find from where I live. This isn't the complete collection but I'm happy with the available colors.
What: Chic Nail Polish Grainy Collection
Where to buy: Watsons/SM Department Store
I've been a nail art enthusiast for years and I've been using the same nail art brush set from Klick, a sister company of OMG. I didn't have any problem with it so if I were to purchase another nail art brush set from a local brand, I'd definitely get one from either Klick or OMG.
What: OMG Oh My Girl Professional Nail Art Brush
Where to Buy: SM Department Stores (body and bath section)
Among my favorite local brands of polish is Bobbie by Chic. The first time I saw this, I only bought black hole (the last one in the picture). I fell in love with it so I purchased the rest of the shades available at Watsons.
Galactic Night has quite a range of finish that I haven't seen on any local brands. It is a collection of pearl, foil, duochrome, chrome/metallic and holographic.
What: Bobbie Galactic Night Collection
Where to Buy: Watsons
I've been seeing OMG's 2 Way Nail Art Brush at Watsons for awhile but I was resisting the urge to buy it since I didn't like their polish formula in the past. But it has been four years (well, almost) since I first tried it. They've changed the packaging of their regular polishes so maybe this time their formula would also be better.
What: OMG 2 Way Nail Art Brush
Cost: P32.00 each
Where to buy: Watsons
Internet connection is so slow which is suppose to help me focus on the seminar. We started out at Ateneo de Davao. We arrived just in time and no, I didn't get to take any photos. We went back to the inn to freshen up before going to SMX Convention for the technical sessions.
