Bobbie Nails have released the Bloom Collection for summer. It’s composed six nail polishes: Azalea, Carnation, Dahlia, Layla, Peony, and Petunia. As to finish, it’s a combination of a regular nail polish, two glitters, two holographic and one that seemed metallic from the bottle but is actually foil when you swatch it.
What: Bobbie Nails Bloom Collection Where to buy: Watsons and SM Department Stores Price: P60 per bottle
The two holographic glitter nail polishes were Azalea and Petunia. Azalea reminds me a bit of Cosmic from the galactic collection. This is obviously glitter polish which needs to be packed on with a sponge unlike Cosmic. Petunia, however, has peach and fuchsia pink micro glitters and a lot of what looks like shards of mirror effect foils.
Dahlia and Layla are glitter polishes. Dahlia has a clear base color like Azalea but Layla has a platinum pink base so you can use it on its own without needing to pack the glitters to get your nails fully covered.
Carnation is a regular baby pink color that resembles Etude House’s PK003. I find it a bit expensive because their regular cream polishes normally retails for only P45.
The last one is Peony. In the bottle, it looks metallic but after swatching, the metallic changes to matte in certain angles. I scratched it accidentally and that part changed finish… again… So I buffed it until it balanced and it turned out it’s foil. This is the first one I got in my collection but I’m just wondering is that how it’s supposed work?
