In Asia, it's a must to have beautiful milky skin specially for women. It's not that I don't like my skin color but I'd like it to be even because, unfortunately, my arms are about eight times darker than the rest of my body because of sun exposure. Luckily, there are plenty of skin whitening products available these days that shows immediate results that are demonstrated through short videos going viral on social media. I have tried some of it, mostly Thai soaps and creams, but nothing seem to work on my skin.
Then recently, I found this Bella Blanca Bleach video (originally on Facebook) and searched for it. Since there are plenty of positive customer feedback, I decided to give it a try.
What: Bella Blanca Bleach
Where to buy: Main Supplier Bella Blanca Bleach (Facebook) Price: P500 (shipping fee included)
A box contains two sachets of bleaching powder (which I think is baking soda) and bottles of "miracle liquid (I think it's hydrogen peroxide but it smells better) gloves, spoon and the instructions.
I tried it as soon as I was able to get it. I mixed a bottle of their miracle liquid and and bleaching powder in the plastic container it came with but it was difficult to blend so I used a different container and shake it until it looks like it's melted ice cream. I applied a little immediately after mixing to test it. I placed the rest in the fridge for an hour to minimize the possible itching side effect because my skin is quite sensitive.
The instructions says you have to leave it for an hour but after roughly six minutes, my skin started feeling itchy so rinsed it off. Leaving it in the fridge for an hour only extended a few minutes before my skin felt itchy. At most, my skin can only tolerate it seven to eight minutes at most.
The picture on the left happened because I didn't use the gloves throughout the process. The picture on the right, however, is the result of the process after eight minutes. Since I can't leave it on long enough, my skin didn't lighten even a bit. It only left marks of dried powder in my skin which is washable.
Obviously, I wouldn't be using this product anymore. I didn't even use the second pack of mixture knowing the results would be harmful on my skin.
I would like to make it clear that this review is not intended to ruin the product's reputation. I couldn't find a thorough review about it so I made one base on my experience. Also, please note that I have a sensitive skin so the result may vary if other's were to use it.
If you would still like to try, you can visit Main Supplier Bella Blanca Bleach on Facebook. They respond to inquiries fast and you would be able to receive your order within three working days in Luzon (outside Manila).
