Hello my lovely readers. I have recently joined a 100 day blogging challenge on a facebook group I'm a member of. It was difficult to cope up at the moment since I have to work and prepare for the upcoming exam but I wanted to share two videos I found online.am but I wanted to share two videos I found online.
Part of the challenge is to do a vlog which, as of the moment, I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do but I wanna try anyway. I make youtube videos for nail art but the set-up I have is so simple and I only use a lamp for lighting so when I tried filming a vlog, it didn't turn out good. Mostly because it was dark. I moved my table by the window for natural lighting but I typically work 12 hours a day so the sun will be gone by the time I get home to film.
I searched for filming set-ups but most of what came out where the glamorous and expensive ones by already popular youtubers. These two I came accross by chance and thought it deserve more views than it get so I'm writing this post to share them.
The first video is by Monica Garcia. I don't own a filming camera, in fact, I'm only using my phone to film and edit nail art tutorials, take pictures and even writing articles on my blog. The setup is nothing glamorous but it's workable and get's the job done.
The second video is by OhKayeee and this is a DIY Ring Light. I have checked other videos but most of it requires electrical skills unlike this video which only needs a few inches of electrical tape to literally just hold it in place. The materials used are a lot easier to find, as well. The only thing I'm replacing is the wooden stand with a tripod.
If you're unsure about investing on youtube or you're simply working on a tight budget, this is the most advisable setup I found online. I hope these two videos were helpful.
Why don't you tell me what you think about this post by writing on the comment section below.
